Plant-Based Options at Chip’s Clubhouse in St Paul

Cashew and Herb Pâté

My partner and I have both dined in and ordered carryout at Chip’s Clubhouse in St. Paul. The restaurant offers a somewhat moody but casual vibe, with dark wood and red lighting. They boast a vegan section on their menu, and offer new items from time to time.

Cashew and Herb Pâté

I’ve enjoyed the Cashew and Herb Pâté appetizer both times that we’ve had it. The pâté’s texture is nice and thick, and the mustard seeds are an unexpected but welcome component.

Impossible Burger

Chip’s has made the Impossible Burger option a cheeseburger since I last tried it, and they include carrot bacon and mustard. If you’re like me and aren’t a big fan of mustard, I’d recommend ketchup instead. They prepare the burger well, and the carrot bacon is a fun touch.

Cocktails

Chip’s Clubhouse has a rotating selection of cocktails and mocktails. They also have beer and wine. When we dined in, we sat at the bar and enjoyed the wonderful service from the bartender.

I’m happy to live not too far from Chip’s Clubhouse, so I can go and support their plant-based dishes. They recently added buffalo wings made with Incogmeato tenders, so I have a feeling I’ll be back there sooner rather than later.
