Sünabloom's Parfait Away Launch Party

Formerly known as Nogurt Yogurt, sünabloom is making a splash in the Twin Cities with their sunflower seed based, allergen friendly, plant based yogurt. Together with Eat.Drink.Dish, sünabloom hosted a tasting and launch party, and I happily accepted an invitation to the pre-event influencer social.

They invited some of my favorite local vegan businesses to provide additional treats, there was a DJ, and amazingly styled sunflower drag queens. Upon arrival, I was shown the champagne bar and my first thought was, "These people know how to throw a party."

Next up, I chatted with Heather from Root to Rise and enjoyed her tofu hash benedict shrooms. Anytime you have the opportunity to try her fresh and flavorful plant based eats, I recommend you take advantage. The mac and cheese egg rolls are my favorite.

I was excited to see bagel bites and cream cheese from Hark! I've been following them on social media for awhile but hadn't tried any of their goodies yet. Oh my gosh, the everything bagel with scallion cream cheese was pure heaven! They're a vegan and gluten free business, and hopefully they'll find a brick and mortar home sooner rather than later. In the meantime, they're taking orders through their website.

The cupcakes from RachCakes Vegan Baking brightened my day. I love sunflowers, so the sünabloom folx are my kind of people, and the RachCakes cupcakes couldn't be any cuter. What I especially love about Rachel is that she donates her proceeds to farm sanctuaries, and her creations are outside of the box. Give her a follow on social media to see where she's popping up next.

My Coconut Whisk friends were there with a pancake and waffle bar. I opted for waffles and topped mine with jam, Reddi-wip, maple syrup, and sprinkles. Delicious! I'm a fan of their snickerdoodle cookies and 1-minute mug cakes. Their mixes are allergen friendly and they ship all over.

Coconut Whisk is having their own launch party October 6 at FINNOVATION Lab. Score your free ticket through Eventbrite.

The parfait bar is such a fun idea, and they provided a beautiful assortment of dishes for us to use. I topped mine with granola, fruit, and chocolate chips. Sünabloom's yogurt is thick and tangy, and I think it could be a great alternative to cream cheese frosting. I've never been a huge yogurt person, but sünabloom's flavor and texture are perfect.

I wish I could attend more launch parties that are this fun! Thanks again to sünabloom and Eat.Drink.Dish for having me. I look forward to trying sünabloom around town as they continue to partner with more and more restaurants.
